I think I heard the phrase - ‘multiple streams of impact’ from @rolakeakinkugbe at @folusog Vision Board session in 2019. Those words gave me a new perspective and permission to explore my many interests!

MADE FOR MORE 2024!!!

This weekend, I had the privilege of supporting the planning and speaking at this year’s women’s conference at my church, @elevationng

I’m incredibly grateful for the experience, but even more so, it feels like a full-circle moment for me.❤️

Eight years ago, I vividly remember returning to Lagos after my mum’s burial, feeling heavy and lost. As we drove past the lamp posts near Jakande, I noticed these vibrant yellow signposts with a sunflower and Pst. Nike Adeyemi’s face on it, promoting a women’s conference. It was so bright and hopeful—everything my life didn’t feel at the time.

Interestingly, the following year, I had not only started attending The Elevation Church but had become a member. My then-boyfriend, now husband ❤️❤️, encouraged me to go. I remember sitting in the room feeling overwhelmed, like everything was going over my head. I don’t even recall the topic, but I stayed.

Fast forward to the next year—I was married, pregnant, and a staff member at TEC, even helping with some of the planning. The theme was Girl on Fire, and I remember telling my friend @nora_odiba_igonoh that I was determined to catch something from that conference. I still remember what I wore and where I knelt in the auditorium, praying with my baby bump.

Year after year, my heart posture has stayed the same. Made for More has marked the end of each year for me, setting the tone for the next. From 2018 until now, I’ve only missed the conference once. And this year—well, this year is special.

Imagine my awe when I was asked to speak at the very event that has been pivotal in shaping my life over the past seven years. And with this year’s theme— Lady, Take Flight - and I couldn’t feel more aligned with the message. This is truly a prophetic moment.
