Can you hear the excitement in my voice? Oh my; I’m super excited to be writing to you after such a long season away. I’ve missed sharing my thoughts and musings with you. How has 2022 been for you? So, I know you’re wondering what I’ve been up to and where I have been for the whole of Q1? To be honest, I have been resting, incubating, learning, relearning, and working on an assignment that God put on my heart last year. Even though I’m the one leading the execution of this project, it has changed me in ways I never expected. It has stimulated my ability to literally wait on God’s leading, to trust Him, and to depend solely on His leadership; and I can tell you that God has blown my mind and truly done more than I can ask or imagine. Whoosh!
Working on this assignment has also enhanced my ability to ideate and execute, follow through with tasks and timelines, seek counsel, negotiate, communicate with multiple stakeholders to ensure buy-in & performance, and trust the skill set and craft of my team. The last couple of months have been a masterclass on faith, project management and productivity on a different level.
Beyond all this, working on this project has clarified one thing for me – God doesn’t do mediocre in any shape or form. He is excellent, detailed and visionary in His outlook and there is no subject matter that He’s clueless about. He is indeed the Extraordinary Strategist! Halleluyah!
I reckon by now; you’re wondering what this project is? Well… (inserts drumroll) …. It’s a BOOK! My very first book is out in a couple of days and I’m super excited to share it with the world. It is titled, ‘You Are Enough’. I can’t give you any more than that right now, but you will get all the juicy details on what the book is about, the writing process, how to purchase it, and much more over the next couple of days. You want to keep your eyes glued to my Instagram page – @chimamaka.ige so you don’t miss any detail because I have so much that will be coming through over the next couple of weeks. If you’re not following me on Instagram, I wonder why, but you want to hurry over to click that follow button right away and put on your post notifications. I do not doubt that this book will be a blessing to you as it’s been a blessing to me while writing it. Not because I’m such an established author, but because this is honestly God’s book, and I’m humbled to be the vessel He used to deliver this urgent message to His beloved children.
Not only do we have the book launching in a few days; but we are also moving our home from here on WordPress to a more integrated website. The website isn’t ready just yet, but you can be sure I’m taking all my family members (subscribers) along with me there, so you don’t get to miss a thing. Again, you want to follow on IG as I’ll be sharing the link to the new site there as well. I’m working towards having a gift for you as we launch the website, so you really don’t want to miss this.
Believe it or not; that’s not all there is! Yes, yes, I know – It’s raining good news! I’ve also recorded a ten-episode ‘Behind the Scenes’ series just for you. The videos are short videos with me in a candid interview of my journey on this project. Just imagine all your questions being answered in a fun, short and interactive series, that’s what waiting for you. The longest episode is just under 10 minutes you can cover it all in one seating, or as you go along on your day. So much to look forward to! God is so good and I’m super excited about all that is coming your way over the next couple of weeks. As I shared on Instagram yesterday, this April is a season of LIGHT.
I pray that you experience Jesus as your light and salvation. I pray that He leads you to take bold, audacious steps and that your heart is filled with courage and worshipful awe of Him. I pray that He fills you with zest (great enthusiasm & energy), supercharges your life and anoints you with fresh oil. I pray that you experience mind-boggling dimensions of favour and are filled to overflowing with the joy of the Lord.
